The Cerberus manifesto

Our world is on the brink of a catastrophe. This fact is something anybody with reasonable intelligence can deduce when you factor in our planets resources with our species exponential population growth which no government in the world has done anything to slow, the fact that even though every government know of our planets problems they still fight over fossil fuels and archaic religious views thinking it will make them and their country more powerful at the cost of other human lives which is only determined on where they were born or what 'God' they worship.

We as a species are flawed and the state of the world is all our own fault. We're hard wired to be selfish and long for individual power and accomplishment which is by no means a flaw itself its when we put our own individual accomplishments above others do we begin to fail as a race. Think about every war that has ever been fought and 99% of the time the cause can be traced to a single person where as you look at what we can accomplish when we work together. Space flight, the splitting of the atom, the CERN super collider, the international space station, the mapping of the human genome, countless incredible achievements that has increased our understanding our universe. Humanity is capable of absolutely horrendous crimes whether it be greed or murder yet at the same time we are also capable of acts which are beautiful, heart warming and can benefit everyone on our planet or just a single person yet it are these acts which occur the fewer of the two which is a crime in itself.

Unfortunately the reason we as a race is more inclined to the negative traits we possess is due to several factors the main being the way we are educated, our governments and the media.

The state of our education: From a young age we're taught that we are all equal, that everyone learns the same and that we should all follow the same doctrine of learning yet when we grow up we all realise that were not all equal, that some of us are smarter and more deserving of a life to live than others which again unfortunately is true. We're all taught in groups which works as an average pulling up the weaker children which is fantastic but it also holds back the strongest of us who can only get the best education as long as they can afford it which if you don't believe is wrong then you won't agree with anything else I have to say either so I would stop reading and move on if I were you. This system also does everything it can to destroy a child's individuality and make them conform to the way the others in society think and if they don't then they are persecuted and treated like outsiders by the people who will only amount to something inside their particular system, the need for individuals is paramount as we need these people to break conformity and change us as a race, change how we think and how we govern ourselves.

The state of our media: Turn to the news right now... and look what you see is pain, suffering and the plight of our civilisation. At the time of this writing there is a civil war in Syria, the making of a civil war at best in the Ukraine and at worst what will become the beginning of world war 3, debates debates and debates about our economy which all ends the same way with the rich getting richer and the poor becoming poorer and a debate on whether global warming is real or not. Yet in the past few days a medical breakthrough device that could help millions with high blood pressure is approved, an outstanding act of kindness from strangers buying a terminally ill man a house using crowd funding and a theory that dark matter is actually made up of miniature black holes are all nowhere to be seen on any news channel. The media is designed to in still fear, now that sounds paranoid yet the more we look at the way the media saturates us all with targeted terror. Now this leads us to a question with an answer that could be any number of options. The question is why does the media in still fear more than any other type of news. Now this can be because most news is terrifying and unfortunately terrible which supports my argument that our race is more inclined to that side of our psyche than the good side or it may be that the news(whether on purpose or inadvertently) is just helping the governments of the world stay in power, which brings us too our last topic.

Governments: I'm not an anarchist, we need order and we need leadership. The problem with our government and most around the world is that they are either overtly corrupt or corrupt without anyone including the government itself even knowing. Governments are meant to put the interests of their nations people first yet politicians follow the age old "I want power" and trade favours between themselves and others on the international stage to build their own power base while ignoring their core responsibilities to their own people. The cause of this is the people in government are there for power but they want power for powers sake not a means to an end and even if a rare man or woman was to come to power with the vision to help better a country for good they would still have to contend with other views either from within their own political party or members of a rival party who would undermine a good idea which they would more than likely agree with just to further their own political agenda and build a powerbase, it's a system that is flawed. We need a system where the power is given to someone who could wield it and use it for the good of the people without having to worry about upsetting others and contending with other back stabbing power hungry politicians, this person would be highly intelligent and in a position that they are known to the public yet did not serve them in a governmental capacity. Ideally this person would be chosen by the peoples demand without actively seeking their votes. Just imagine if the whole country voted for a popular business man/woman or ranking military official who was in a position of trust already but could take on the responsibilities of running a country. Just think this person would have the support of the country yet no political ties or previous promises, they would have been voted into power on trust and merit alone. It's a romantic idea which may or may not work but it's not the idea that's important, what is important is the point I'm trying to get across- somebody who actively seeks power for powers sake should not be allowed to wield that power in the name of others.

Those problems affect our race as a whole and it's something that no country on earth has any idea how to solve and let's face it we're on borrowed time here. Over population, food shortage, global warming, energy crisis, the economy, war, disease..... unfortunately we could go on and on. What this planet need and what our species needs is a guardian. Something to protect every single one of us from the gates of hell. We need a Cerberus.

We cannot rely on the worlds governments like the UN or the EU, they are made up of the same people who run our corrupt governments. No this Cerberus has to be made from us. Normal people who will dedicate themselves to the betterment of mankind. Educate yourself, encourage others to be more environment friendly, take part in debates about governments and get involved in the political process, learn how you can help others and build upon what people have done before us. All of us are capable of incredible acts and we have no idea of our potential, Albert Einstein worked as a patent clerk when he was writing the theory of relativity which more than a century on is not even taught in schools! Kicked out of school for being easily distracted, Thomas Edison received only 3 months of formal schooling.

And it's not just the incredible people. Imagine what people said when the idea that the world was round the first time they heard it, imagine what people thought when they first saw a plane fly or witnessed the moon landing. I don't think every single one of us is capable of these acts but the fact that not all of us aim higher or try to build upon what has been done is insane, we are all capable of limitless potential and we should not and worse cannot accept a life with our reaching anymore. Anybody who believes we can just work a 9-5 job and let a very few people change the world for the better around us are kidding themselves and holding the rest of us back, our race can no longer accommodate the weak and lazy. We need to pull together and we must work together in order to put our race first. Support Cerberus, spread the message through email, word of mouth, your arguments, social media, your actions, anything and everything you do Cerberus is for humanity. Teach your children to exceed their expectations and build upon what others have done before.

A dark time is coming and humanity will be tested, we must ensure we are up to the task.

Cerberus stands for humanity as the guardian of our future.
